We were looking for a place to have a late lunch, and found this charming tea house in the Megalong Valley. We mainly had a drinks and a light lunch menu, and no one had any complaints.

The restaurant is nice, the food is great however we were being limited to have the meal time to 1.5hrs which is a bit short.

At the cliff hotel, I wanted to eat the afternoon tea of the hotel, but I didn&rsquo;t book the window. I went to the Italian restaurant next to it. I just had a private garden and I could overlook the blue mountain. I ordered a pizza. I saw a lot of materials from other customers. I ordered a lot. There seems to be nothing about seafood. The price is not expensive. The scenery is OK. It is much cheaper than the price of several other restaurants in the hotel. The price is not bad.

This is an Indian restaurant on Canyon Road in Cartomba, NSW. Indian cuisine is not too common in Australia, but Indian toasts are available in many places. The restaurant offers Indian tossed cakes, as well as Indian dishes, which are basically acceptable tastes, cheaper prices, and can be tried.

As there is hardly any choice for eating in Megalong Valley called in for a late lunch....and were we pleasantly surprised!! I had the Beef Pie - my goodness, the best Pie filling and pastry I&#39;ve ever eaten!! Delicious tender flavoured filled beef, encased in the crispest flaky pastry, served with lovely salad and tomato relish. Yum. My husband had the Ploughman&#39;s plate...he could not believe his eyes...it was fantastic. Huge slab of bread and gammon, boiled egg, pickles etc.Excellent cloudy apple juice beautifully chilled. Beautiful setting in the open looking at paddocks, birds, and trees and mountains. Staff were lovely. My only suggestion would be they change their name from Tea Room to somehow include &quot;Cafe/Restaurant&quot; as it implies that it is only morning/afternoon tea on offer and it is far more than that. It is also open Saturday nights I believe.

Very Over priced and very abrupt service, this place has recently changed hands and you can definately tell. The Staff that were once very friendly and welcoming have been replaced the impatient and the abrupt ! The beautiful Home made pies that were once $12.00 are now touching $20. The home made Jam and Scones that the Tea Rooms was always famouse for has also been replaced with dull scones and runny jamb and again almost twice the price. I took friends there today expecting them to enjoy thier experience in the beautiful location and surroundings, we spent almost $400 dollars on a very average lunch and yet was told that we had to take our Cups of tea straight away because they could not possibly hold them until we got our food because the staff in the kitchen would go mad..........I thought this was very strange but even worse was the way that we were told, I almost felt like I was being told off for asking. Apart from that, the location is spectacular. It&#39;s just a pity that the new owners and staff never took a course in hospitality and manners. Very disappointing.

This restaurant is good and the service &amp; location is also good. I&#39;ve been there 4 times already although this time, the food I ordered was replaced without the waiter telling me that they have changed the fish from cod to salmon. Anyway, they apologised and instead of 8 persons, they charged only for 7 persons. Overall very good restuarant.
